I've lived in Northeast Ohio my entire life and spent more than 40 years working blue-collar jobs. Eric's Desk grew from my interest in politics, government and the decisions that affect ordinary people.
I approach journalism as a reporter and a reader. When a politician, political organization or advertisement makes a claim, I want to know where it came from, what the evidence actually shows and what important context may be missing.
